Our Story
Our CEO, Aminah Keith was motivated to establish Booked and Busy Tutoring after her first year experience teaching at a charter school In Newark, NJ.
However, her love of Math and helping others began before that. Read her story below.
"I always had a love for math and wanted to be a math teacher after having one of the best Math teachers named Mr. Mckenzie. It was my sophomore year of high school when I decided I wanted to be a math teacher. Flash forward, within my first year of teaching, I noticed how many students needed extra help where I was always there to assist them. However with me working with 3-5 students within a 30-40 minute block, there was always more I wanted to do to make sure the students fully understood the content. The drive of teaching and excitement I felt from students when they finally understood the content being taught is what made me begin this path".
